Located in Morton, on the edge of beautiful Morton National Park, Flatrock Roost provides a stunning home for our chickens to free range and concentrate on what they do best. We invite you to enjoy the difference this makes to the quality and taste of their eggs.

Our hens have expansive fields to explore and forage. Compared to the industry standard of 10,000 hens per hectare our stocking density is just 500 hens per hectare. This means our hens have 20 times more space.
We are committed to best practice animal welfare, and to sustainable and responsible farming practices. Farmer Stu is pioneering carbon sequestration using innovative techniques including the production of carbon-rich Biochar from the slow pyrolysis of biomass from the farm. Recently there has been substantial interest in biochars as soil amendments to improve and maintain soil fertility and to strategically address the world’s need for carbon sequestration.

At Flatrock Roost, we want you to enjoy the delicious taste of eggs from truly free-ranging chickens.
Our hens are drawn from a diverse range of heritage breeds, including Wyandotte, Maran, Cream Legbar, Minorca, Leghorn, Australorp, Araucana and Quamby.
Quality control and food safety is a priority. We are registered with teh NSW Food Authority, with a unique identifying number and egg stamp.
